I salute you Joe McQ and thank you for your life ... I met Joe in Scarborough in the UK when he came with Charlie P for a Big Book Study Weekend in the late nineties. He touched my heart. I now work in the recovery field and only have the courage to carry the burden of professional duties because of his trail-blazing work. His integrity and clear leadership around ethics and the possibility of people in their own recovery clinically helping a 21st century generation understand the underlying message of spiritual hope that addiction conveys to humanity is unparallelled. We are all addicted to oil and the fabric of human spirituality is frayed. Joe McQ stands tall and clear in the message of his life with a voice that illuminates the darkest corners of beleagured communities urging them to listen to the redemptive message of the recovered outcasts of this age. God has always touched the lives of the marginalised, the lost, the drunks, the whores and the criminals first when he revitalises his message to His own creation.
